Last year’s Dixieland themed Jazz Festival was such a big hit, we’re doing it again!

The Michelob Twin Tiers Jazz Festival began in 2006 in downtown Elmira. This festival features the finest local, regional and national jazz musicians.

In 2010, the Twin Tiers Jazz Festival committee played their part in the yearlong celebration of Elmira’s most famous citizen, Mark Twain. There was great music, good food and dancing in the streets until the sun went down!

This year the foot stomping, toe tapping music continues with:

Nickel City Clippers (Buffalo) 12 – 1:30 pm
Morgan Street Stompers (Buffalo) 1:45 – 3:15 pm
Joe Cavallaro’s Dixieland Band (Elmira) 3:30 – 4:30 pm
Dinny and the All-Stars (Canada) 4:45 – 6:00 pm

This event is free and open to the public. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the shade in Wisner Park. Food and drink by Bernie Murray’s and wines from White Springs Winery and Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards.
